Your Role as an Affiliates & Partnerships Manager:

As an Affiliates and Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand’s reach and influence through strategic collaborations. You will develop and manage partnerships with affiliates, influencers, and other key stakeholders. Your focus will be on driving affiliate recruitment, negotiating partnerships, and implementing effective strategies to maximize brand exposure and revenue.

You will be responsible for:

Affiliate Recruitment and Management:

  • Identify and recruit affiliates to join our affiliate marketing programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit, onboard new affiliates and nurture existing relationships.
  • Create and optimize an affiliate kit, including banners, emails, and landing pages, offer pre-written promotional content to facilitate efficient product promotion by affiliates.

Affiliate Payout Management:

  • Conduct routine evaluations of affiliate promotional activities, analyze traffic sources and referral methods, and ensure timely processing of payouts.
  • Express gratitude to affiliates for their efforts in promoting our products, provide proactive feedback and suggestions for optimizing their promotion strategies, aiming for increased traffic and conversions.
  • Address any violations of our terms by affiliates, initiate communication to resolve issues, and take necessary actions to maintain the integrity of our affiliate program.

Affiliate Support and Performance Tracking:

  • Engage in daily communication with affiliates, providing ongoing support and assistance.
  • Organize and execute affiliate contests to foster healthy competition and engagement.
  • Regularly review and optimize the affiliate program structure, commission rates, and incentives.
  • Implement strategies to increase affiliate activation, retention, and performance.

Partnerships and Negotiations:

  • Identify and engage potential partners for collaborative projects, sponsorships, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and terms to create mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with influencers, affiliates, and other relevant stakeholders.

Relationship Building and Nurturing:

  • Forge and nurture robust relationships with partners, influencers, and industry experts through consistent communication and collaborative efforts.
  • Efficiently manage all outreach inquiries, initiating proactive communication with partners and influencers via emails and social media channels.
  • Partner closely with collaborators on initiatives such as link exchanges, new articles, videos, and explore diverse opportunities, including in-product integrations, newsletter promotions, and email campaigns.
  • Participate actively in the online WordPress community, attending relevant events to stay connected and well-informed.

Training and Performance Oversight:

  • Conduct training sessions for outreach executives, covering areas such as effective outreach strategies, email writing, database compilation, and identification of influencers and channels.
  • Manage and supervise outreach efforts, tracking campaign success and facilitating discussions on growth strategies with the team.
  • Motivate team members to enhance performance by recognizing their efforts and providing additional value, such as incentives.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Recruit freelancers/agencies for various marketing activities, including press release promotion and video creation, utilizing platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and other relevant channels.
  • Participate in the hiring process for SEOs, marketers, writers and outreach experts.
  • Identify the need for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), draft them, and ensure their implementation within the team.

You must have these skills and experiences:

  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in successfully recruiting and managing affiliates.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing platforms and tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing concepts.
  • Experience in conducting competition analysis and leveraging insights for partnership strategies.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with WordPress will be a significant advantage.
